After all of us being very worried and anxious regarding the Covid 19 and after the lockdown we’ve all had to suffer. And the people on the Isle Of Man, I can seriously say have excelled themselves. And our Manx Government and all our MHK’s, our NHS services, Doctors, Nurses, all our emergency services, and key workers. We can’t thank you enough, and we all applaud you.
Thank you one and all!
It’s great being out again, and I was out and about taking reference pictures and sketching, which I love. And I came across the entrance way to our own Manx Parliament. And I stood in amazement and embarrassment at the same time. I’ve lived on the Isle Of Man all of my life, and I’d never really noticed the architecturally beauty of the main entrance to our local Manx Government here on the Isle Of Man. After taking a couple of reference pictures and doing some rough sketches, i ventured back home with everything I needed. I chose to do the entrance as a pencil study, but because of the amount of detail involved I decided to do the picture large, A2 size to hopefully capture all the beautiful relevant detail of the architecture. The overall artwork took many hours of drawing and I hope I’ve captured a lot of the beauty of the architecture that I’d never ever noticed before.
Stay safe everyone, until next time… ✏️
