2020 Easter Competition Winner

My Easter Art Competition draw, prize winner...

Unfortunately with the worrying situation we’re all in at the moment with Covid 19 and social distancing etc., it was quite impossible for me to get a presentation picture, with the prize winner, which is normally what I like to do. But I was delighted today to receive a lovely message and picture from local prize winner Patricia Watts.

Thank you for everyone that took part in the draw, and congratulations to Patricia Watts, the final prize draw winner!

Latest Pencil Work Study

Just completed my latest pencil study, the subject being The Lady Isabella.

The Laxey Wheel is built into the hillside above the village of Laxey in the Isle of Man. It is the largest working waterwheel in the world. Designed by Robert Casement, the wheel has a 72-foot-6-inch diameter, is 6 feet wide and revolves at approximately three revolutions per minute.

The original pencil study has been snapped up straight away and purchased by a collector.

But the good news is, there will be Limited Edition signed and numbered prints available soon for purchase.

Christmas 2019 Pencil Portrait Winner

Christmas 2019, I ran a Christmas competition draw, where the winner won a pencil portrait of their choice. Professionally mounted and framed by The Art Gallery. I’d also like to thank Simon for his continued support and as always first class service and craftsmanship.

Congratulations...

Delighted today to present Hannah Frost my 2019 Christmas Draw winner, with her choice of pencil portrait. Professionally mounted and framed also, as promised.
